 The descriptions below are from the Sanctuary Dedication service in September of 1981 and were written by the window designer.

East Facing Window
 (as seen from back of church)

Resurrection Window:  Light, bright colors of spring

Top Panel:  The beginning of a rainbow, symbolizing the pomises of God, and flowing through all panels.

2nd Panel:  The butterfly, symbol of the resurrection of Jesus, and the Easter Lily.

3rd Panel:  Swirls of light and rainbow, and the tomb from which Jesus arose.

Bottom Panel:  A rose, symbol of the nativity and new life, and the thorns of His crown.

North Facing Window

Baptism Window:  Light pale colors of new life and summer.

Top Panel:  Symbol of the Holy Spirit; the dove.

2nd Panel:  A candle in water and a shell with three drops of water, both symbols of baptism.

3rd Panel:  Open Bible represents the Word of God.

Bottom Panel:   A fish, the symbol of Jesus

West Facing Window

Nativity Window:  The cool colors of night and winter.

Top Panel:  The star of Bethlehem with light radiating through all panels.

2nd Panel:  The manger scene and shepherd's staff.

3rd Panel:  The lamb; symbol of Jesus with Trinity triangle, the three wise men and the cave.

Bottom Panel:  Three swallows, a renaissance symbol of the incarnation of Christ

South Facing Window

Eucharist or Communion Window:  Rich full colors of wine and wheat.

Top Panel:  The cross with rays radiating through entire window.

2nd Panel:  The chalice and grapes representing the communion wine, and  red tablecloth.

3rd Panel:  Wheat; symbol of the communion bread.

Bottom Panel:  The grape/wine symbol.
