The Music Team is a group of folks who enjoy the challenge of blending the best of the Church's grand traditional hymns with music that one might hear on the radio today.  This team believes that the titles - traditional and contemporary - are obsolete ways of describing God's worship.  Combining ecletic styles of music that both honor our past and our present, the Music Team employs the use of different instruments, like the keyboard, piano, guitars, tambourines, and even a djembe drum to help tell and celebrate God's story.

We believe bringing all of our gifts to bear in worship is a reflection of the unique way in which God has given us gifts to share with the world.  Our worship cannot be captured by a title, but if one had to be attempted, we would say that our worship is indigenous, because it is worship that springs forth from who we are as God's gathered and called people on Sunday mornings.  

Because we strive to be our most authentic selves before God on Sunday mornings, we are encouraged to also be our most authentic selves before God on Monday mornings as well.  We do not have to be someone we are not simply for the sake of keeping up appearances.  Whether we are standing by the altar-table on Sunday or by the water cooler on Monday, God calls us to worship as ourselves, not as some highly-edited version of ourselves.

Music Team rehearses every Tuesday evening in the worship space from 7:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.  We are always looking for folks who have a passion for offering their gifts in praise to God.
